Scare || Lily

As Mac went to see his doctor who told him to have a blood test and found something not quite right, and Mac was scared that something was wrong and he held his daughter close to him at home in their bedroom, when Lily got back and heard the phone message and the papers on the blood tests, she was worried about him, Lily found Mac holding Isabella close to him, Lily knew that Mac was scared....

What happens to Mac?

Lily went to see Mac having seen something that concerned the health of her husband. She hated feeling like that, she saw Mac hold Isabella in his arms.

-Babe, what....what's going on? It's cancer? Tell me it's not cancer please. I do not want you to die. she said crying

"I don't know yet, have to wait for the results to come back, which will take a few weeks" , Mac said as he looked to her

Lily wiped her cheeks, she would then give him a hug.

-I love you so much. I will pray that you have nothing serious. You feel weak for a few days?

Mac held her close to him, he was so scared and he just let his emotions show and he softly cried on her shoulder, he was really scared

Lily held him in her arms, she consoled him when he cried. They were afraid, they hoped that nothing was seriously wrong with his health.

When Mac's blood test results came back, they showed a tumor located at the top of his spine, the only option was surgery to remove it, when Mac told Lily what was wrong with him, he had no idea how she would react

Lily had finally knew what Mac had following his blood tested. She was afraid, she wanted to cry, but she wanted to remain strong for her husband.

-You'll get surgery and everything will be okay baby. We will fight.

Mac held her close to him, he was scared

She hold her arms around his neck, she will be with him on each step. She was with him to every appointment with the doctor.

When it was time for Mac to have his operation, he asked her not to worry Jason and Stella, he was then given an injection to put him to sleep, he got the chance to tell Lily how much he loved her and kissed her before he went to sleep

Lily had kissed him before he was asleep, she had promised him not to tell Jason and Stella. Lily was in the waiting room, she wished she had someone for support, but she had promised to warn anyone. She was afraid, she didn't want to lose Mac. She did not want him to be paralyzed because of his operation.

As Mac was having the operation, it would take almost six hours and after Mac was out of surgery, they took him into ICU so he could recover and Lily was told and was allowed to be with him, she saw just how fragile he looked after the operation

Lily had slept a little in the hallways, the time was so long. It was a nurse who had wake her up so she can go see Mac. She was stunned to see him so weak, she took his hand and gently stroked her hair.

-I'm here baby, all gonna be okay. Rest well.

Lily saw the where his operation had been and how weak he looked

Lily hoped there were no complications. She was scared, his surgery was in the region of his spine, so it was dangerous. She fall asleep on the bed by his side.

Mac was still asleep and later that night, Mac's hand slightly moved

Lily woke slowly, feeling Mac move in his bed. She stroked his cheek, smiling softly. Lily hoped he was not in pain.

Mac's hand moved again

She checked he was not feverish, and had his dose of medicine. Lily had put a wet cloth over his face to make him feel better.

Mac smiled in his sleep

Lily saw him smile, she seemed to see that he was well. This was a good sign! She gently stroked his hand looking at him waking up.

-Hello baby!

Mac turned his head to look to her, then said "Hey"

Lily was sitting on the edge of the bed, she placed a kiss on his lips.

-How do you feel? Are you in pain?

"Feeling ok, how long was I asleep?", Mac asked after he'd kissed her back
