Jason knew that Reed had come to see his stepfather, he find it well they had a good relationship.

Mac and Reed were talking and Isabella was on Mac's knees

Stella had texted Mac.

*Hey, say hi to Reed from me.

Mac showed the message to Reed

Reed read the message with a smile.

-Can I answer her?

Mac nodded and passed his phone to Reed

Stella had spoken with Reed a little while, she wanted see him à little since he's in town. They fix a day to see each other.

Reed gave to Mac his phone, he was happy to stay in touch with Stella too.

-You like your life here? You don't miss NYC?

"I do miss NYC sometimes but my life is here with Lily and our little girl Isabella" , Mac said

Reed smiled gently.

-I've never seen you happy like that. You deserve it Mac, you're a wonderful dad. The city seems to be magical because it changed your life and Stell too. I wonder if it would change mine.

"It might, you never know", Mac said as he held his daughter, when Reed then saw a pic of Lily with Mac

Reed had took the photo frame on which there was Mac and Lily.

-I love being in new york, but I want to change my life. having a new job, a new apartment, a girlfriend. It scare me though.

Mac nodded

-First of all I'm going to find me a job in a newspaper. So you take me around the city?

Mac nodded, then Isabella crawled over to Reed and looked to him

Reed smiled gently at Isabella, he was always uncomfortable in front of children. He did not know what to do or say. He tried to say a complete sentence by giving a toy to Isabella.

-Sorry, I'm not really good with kids...

Isabella took the toy and she played with it, Reed noticed just how much Isabella looked like Mac

-You have a beautiful little girl, that must make you feel good to see a house full of life.

Mac nodded, then he handed Reed a scan pic that belonged to his birth mom Claire

Reed looked at the ultrasound

-What is it? I mean who is it?

"Claire was pregnant at the time of 9/11 and she was gonna tell me that night but I never knew until Stella had to tell me" , Mac said

Reed had a sad smile.

-I am sorry to know that. Your son could have had a great life with a great dad and a great mom.

Mac nodded

The following days, Reed learned to know Lily. He even visited the lab.

-I might have a position for the local newspaper. Journalism for the crime section.

Reed saw both Mac and Lily together and saw just how happy they were together
