Truth || Jason

Mac had wondered just how Jason knew Claire and wanted to know the truth behind it and if there was more to it than meets the eye. Mac needed to know in order to keep himself calm.

Jason knew that he would have to explain just how he knew Claire and wondered how to explain it all to Mac, it scared him a little but knew that he would have to admit the truth and hope that Mac would understand.

Will Mac like the truth from Jason?

Jason was one morning thinking about his childhood, he remembered his moments when he played with Claire. She was his neighbor at the time, she was like a sister to him, a second sister. He Mac who visit him that morning.

-Hey bud, what's up, he said sitting in the living room with him

"How well did you know Claire?", Mac asked

-I known her since I was little. When I moved to the United States in my ten years I knew no one. My mother has become friends with the neighbor, the mother of Claire and this is how we meet. We play together with my sister and my brother. And when I was fifteen I'm moving to New Jersey. But I kept in touch by letter with her, if you're wondering, we have never been more than friends. Claire was like a sister to me. he said

Mac looked to him, then asked "How did you feel when you found out that Claire was gonna marry me back then?"

-I was happy for her, she always want a good guy and she found you.

"Yeah and I had to tell her son Reed that Claire had died on 9/11" , Mac said

Jason nod.

-Claire wanted to keep Reed, you know. Her parents told her that if she not give Reed, they were going to put her on the street. So she give him to an adoption agency. I still have the letter.

He was to pick a box and showed him the letter.

-I always thought my brother was the father. He never wanted to tell the truth telling me I was a liar. We had a fight, and since that day we never talk.

"Would you ever wanna know if you are related to Reed?", Mac asked

-Mac I'm telling you the truth. he said.

Mac nodded, even he didn't know that Reed would turn up looking for Mac

-Listening I can try with my sister to have my brother's DNA to see if it is the father of Reed. He may want to break my legs, but I'm ready to do it if you want to know.

Mac nodded

Jason had taken care of his little investigation. He did not know how, but his sister had managed to have saliva that a cotton swab. Jason, had to send it to the lab, he looked at the results.

-Son of a bitch!

He was angry, he knew that his brother was stupid enough to have done that.

Mac was outside, in the alley thinking

Jason was going to see Mac, he could see that Jason was angry. He handed him the result and saw that the father of Reed was his brother. Jason bought a plane ticket to London he need to talk to his brother or rather go blow his face.

Mac knew the truth now

-I go to London, I will not let that bastard act as if nothing happened.

Jason had left the country to visit his family. He had not talked to Stella's what happened. Two weeks had passed and he was back in the country. He was in New York for an lawsuit. His brother deserve prison, of what he did to Claire.

Mac was with his family

Jason had come home after almost a month of absence. He had to explain everything to Stella course, she was disgusted with what had happen to her friend. Reed was a young adult, and Jason want to help him. Yes he had a foster family, but he wanted to be there for him. Reed had the right to know his mother.

Reed only trusted Mac, his stepfather

Jason was trying to show Reed he could trust him, but he saw that it was not working. Stella had to explained to Jason what it was being an orphan. She know how is feel, she understand Reed. So the only thing he could do was keep an eye on him and let him come one day if he wanted to talk to him.

Reed went to see Mac and met little Isabella too and Mac told Reed that Isabella was his daughter
