NYC || Lily & Jason

"Uhmm your place?" she replied.

"I can't tell you" , Mac sent back

It was Lily's birthday and Mac had sent her a msg telling her that his flight had been cancelled but secretly he was already back home, he was at Jason's loft showing him the present he'd gotten for Lily and they had to find a way of surprising Lily who missed Mac when they got to the Private Garden and Lily would be in for a surprise

Lily was very sad to know that Mac was not back the day his birthday. She thought it was unfair.

Jason was looking forward to the birthday of Lily when Mac was back, he was at his loft

-Show it to me.

He smiled very curious.

Mac showed Jason the present for Lily

-Oh my god, she's going to love!

Jason had then shown him the private garden when he was going by car to show the reception room.

-And the cake is there, I decide with the taste of your wife. You think she'll love his cake?

Mac nodded, he was gonna surprise her as she thought his plane was cancelled but he'd flown back the night before and was at Jason's loft

-So, how we will proceed? Like I'll get Lily and you wait hère with her family and the other one for the surprise?

Mac then suggested that he'd watch from the shadows and surprise her when it struck 9pm..

-- Private Garden --

Everything was set up for Lily's birthday, she was missing Mac, she had no idea that he was watching her from behind the thick tree, waiting for the right moment, he had his cell phone turned off

Lily opened the door saw Jason coming to see her. He told her they were going to celebrate his birthday with Stella and children. But she didn't knew that there would be more people. She had a slight smile on his face, Mac missed him so much. She could not wait his returns. When they were returned to the private garden, she was speechless.

-It's pretty! You did not need to book an expensive place. But it's quiet, there are no other people like in restaurants.

Mac had been there and set it all up, he now was hiding from sight

-It is our pleasure, plus it's different than a restaurant.

Jason invite Lily had friends, he had to try to invite Lily's parents, but they had a scheduled cruise. But they send their gift by mail. He was eager to see the reaction of Lily with Mac who was hidden behind a tree.

Mac overheard Lily telling Jason how much she missed Mac

Lily smiled gently, she was sitting at a table with Isabella. She would have had more fun if Mac would have been there. Lily's friends began to arrive, she was glad of see them, but it was more Mac she wanted.

As it got closer to 9pm, Jason put a blindfold over Lily's eyes for a reason

Lily wondered why Jason blindfolded her eyes. She sit on a chair in the middle of the reception room. His heart was beating fast, she wondered what was her gift.

Jason smiled amused.

-Bring the gift!

Mac appeared from where he was and went over to Lily, he smirked then set the present on the table, then Mac nodded and Jason removed the blindfold, then Mac said "Happy Birthday princess"

Lily was surprise when the blindfold was removed from his eyes. She jumped into Mac's arms, kissing him passionately.

-I thought your flight was canceled.

"I got back last night and been staying at Jason's and wanted to surprise you, I love you" , Mac said

She was smiling eyes shining.

-I love you too babe.

She looked at Jason.

-You're a good actor to have kept it a secret. And you too Stell.

But Lily knew stella was not informed of this surprise.

Mac let her open the present that he'd got for her, Jason was the only one who knew

Lily smile again, her husband was there for her birthday. She opened her gift and was speechless.

-Mac is too much. I...oh my god...
